Typical CUBE: The Stereo 120 TM shines bright with its high-quality, clever componentry in this price class. Like the choice to spec Shimano's four-piston XT brake at the front and the two-piston version at the back. Or the big-range SRAM Eagle drivetrain. The Fulcrum wheels are shod with Schwalbe's popular touring tyre, Nobby Nic, for the lightest (4285 g) and fastest-rolling wheelset on test. Its modern geometry – long and flat but not too aggressive – is ideal for descending. The Stereo responds nimbly to every touch on the bars, makes light work of the corners and stays planted on the trails. The Fox chassis with 130 mm up front and 120 mm at the rear does a great job without a fuss.
